In this video I am sharing a portion of my course Tidy Tutor University.
In this section of ttu we go over a MUST in keeping it together and a method I use to keep me from feeling like there is no time to do necessary things, or even if I have time, like the next thing on my agenda is to sit down and put my feet up, I show you here a little trick to feel like, the feet up portion of my day can wait.
It will amaze you how little time things actually do take. there are so many things that we don’t do because of the tapes we’ve been playing in our heads that we believe to be true.
It is mandetory to clean up after ourselves, but I know that if your place is a wreck we can’t wrap our heads around what to do about it.
One thing to do, as I share in the video, is to stop before we leave a room, always.
Turn and look at it and see what mess we JUST made. Not anything else. Just what did I do just now, and go back in and clean that up.
Another thing to do is to count Mississippi’s while you are doing it.
One Missississippi, two Mississippi, three Mississippi until we are done.
What this will do is it helps us to see that things do not take as much time as we thought they did, and it will keep us on task realizing that we haven’t been there as long as we think we have.
In TTU we have a step by step, what to do and when, and in this video we go over how to stop all of the mess that we do have from having babies ad multiplying.
I know that if your kitchen is a disaster it is difficut to see the value in taking care of the mess that we just made, but that is one of the reasons we have allowed it to get as bad as it has.
If you will employ just this one portion of my course, you will be amazed at what a difference this will make. But it’s not enough, it is just a way to begin to implement new habits and new ways of doing things that begin to reveal the easy in housework and the freedom found in my course.
