Taking a break? It’s not time yet! Just do it!

“I’ve been taking a break from everything for so many years because I felt I deserved it. But in looking around this place, I know I deserve better. And I’m the only one who can give it precedence. So enough with thoughts. The vision is clear. Just do it.

I grew up in the 80s and I remember very much the slogan, “Just Do It”.
Seemed simple enough and I thought, well of course, just do it.
But then I realized that I had been gifted with a very analytical mind.
That if left to my own vices, I would literally over think a situation a
million times over.

I think with this kind of gift, it takes away from the physical part of
everything. Structure is very important for people like me.

I also have been thinking about when I was younger and how as an only child I
was able to do everything I wanted with no sibling to judge or guide me. My
parents were hardly at home and so even though at first I had a theme to my
room, inside my closet spoke a budding clutterer.

But since meeting Kathy, I haven’t seen this as a burden but as a challenge.
There is nothing wrong with me, there is something wrong with my system.

Having said that, I have to accept that I am an adult and that everything to
do with my house, vehicle and life solely relies on my action towards it.

I also have been thinking about how I’ve applied this to my health. I have been
hiking and have been enjoying it and have gotten more of a winning by a turtle’s
point of view than a hare.

Step by step with structure is what I am to do.

And I have been reminded NOT to take a break because at this point I am still
in my first few steps into this kind of life.

I’ve been taking a break from everything for so many years because I felt
I deserved it. But in looking around this place, I know I deserve better.

And I’m the only one who can give it precedence.

So enough with thoughts.

The vision is clear.

Just do it.

Much love to you Kathy.
