In September I gave notice to move out of my apartment, and just after it was rented I was told that the place I was going to move into probably wasn’t going to be ready till October.
So, I had to figure out what I was going to do for the month of September.
I had an idea that I could travel that month.
I could have stayed with my brother John and sister-in-law Laurie who live right outside of Boca Raton in Florida, and I have a cousin Denise in North Carolina who was eager to have me come see her home and stay a while with her.
I have a girlfriend Roberta, since I was in the 7th grade who lives in an amazing home with a pool house I could crash in way up in Picturesque North Jersey near Pennsylvania, so I wasn’t that concerned about being homeless for a month.
But I had an idea… not sure where it came from, but I have always been one to go by inspiration.
I had a car and gas and other than the epic trip I took to Vietnam last year I had never been anywhere.
So I put a post up on my private Tidy Tutor Facebook Page where my Tidy Tutor University Students and I communicate together on a daily basis…
..and I let them know about my situation, and asked who would like a visit.
Well I was overwhelmed with the invitations from my Tidy Tutor family.
Members from Germany and Greece and Australia and Canada and California, people from all over the world responded and wanted me to visit them.
Luckily there were some invites that were closer in distance to me that I could drive to and Vonnie was one of them.
Vonnie lives in Virginia with her husband Robert and so I made the plans to take the 7 hour drive to see her.
Well it just so happened that Vonnie had an amazing story and I interviewed her while I was visiting.
She was gracious enough to allow me to video the interview and I am sharing it here with you.
It is her unique journey in realizing that she did not want to continue to live for her things.
Vonnie and her husband Robert wanted an RV lifestyle that could not include the large home she owned, and all of her possessions… including a 50 piece collection of pottery as well as her extensive Disney Lenox display, and what she called “The Room of Shame”
She knew it was not going to be easy, given the amount of possessions she owned and the overwhelm that she felt revolving around that enormous task, so she reached out to Google and found me.
Vonnie enrolled in Tidy Tutor University, and the rest is history.
In this video we get a tour of the home Vonnie moved into after her house sold and her unique way of downsizing.
I know you will love the video and I know that you will fall in love with Vonnie just as I have.
If you have been sitting on the fence about enrolling in Tidy Tutor University I hope you will consider jumping off that fence and diving in.
I am running right now a Christmas Special… Tidy Tutor University for just a dollar for 30 days! as well as a Bonus… Tidy Tutor insiders for 4 months free (which is my monthly support group) as well as my December Holiday Crunch Time video series Free.
