Thankfulness and Change

When we’re NOT happy with how things are, when things are genuinely not good, when we need things to change, believe it or not… its time to get thankful.

Focusing on what we don’t want will bring more of the same.

If we have things that we need, but don’t particularly like, here is what we can do… We can be thankful for what we have now, and thereby allow us to initiate the change we are looking for.

This makes room for an upgrade. Being unthankful for what we have, puts out an energy that is negative, and if we want positive, if we need improvements, putting out some thankful vibes into the universe is a great way to get change-a-rolling.

According to an article written by Amy Morin in “Psychology Today” being thankful has some pretty wonderful consequences.

Here are 7 scientifically proven benefits as pointed out in that article:
1. Gratitude opens the door to more relationships.
2. Gratitude improves physical health.
3. Gratitude improves psychological health.
4. Gratitude enhances empathy and reduces aggression.
5. Grateful people sleep better.
6. Gratitude improves self-esteem.
7. Gratitude increases mental strength.

What are some things you have, that you need, but can use an upgrade? Can you think of ways to be thankful for what you have now? Let’s get grateful, for things that aren’t so great, so that we can move forward with our goals (or need) to see things improve.

What we appreciate, appreciates.

Let me know if you do this!
