I am beginning a blog about the life changes that I have experienced in this past year.
They are quite relevant to The Tidy Tutor’s battle cry.
I sold my 4 bedroom home that had a front porch, a foyer, 3 bathrooms, an attic, a finished
basement, and a HUGE 2 story barn in the backyard.
I’ve lived there for over 16 years, with everything I’ve accumulated in the 34 years I’ve been a mother
up until then; and almost 4 months ago I downsized enough to move into a tiny apartment with no storage.
I will be sharing all the emotional baggage I went through, how I decided what to get rid of, advise I got
from my sister who came to help me get my stuff in order in my new place, and show you pictures of the
home I moved out of, as I was moving out of it, the good, the bad and the ugly!
I will give you a tour of my apartment and show you how it has come along since I moved into it. I will
share with you what I have learned about being a minimalist and how I was surprised to find out that it
doesn’t necessarily mean NOT buying things; this is going to be a blast!
In this video, I talk about the piece of furniture I’m sitting in front of and how I felt wrong buying it after
I got rid of so much stuff, and how it felt wrong to spend so much time making it nice and working on it
when I always profess that I don’t want to spend my life taking care of stuff.
I have learned quite a bit, and I can’t wait to share it all with you.

won’t miss one post, share, blog or moment of this journey.
Much Love!
