This is a video I did in May of 2012 (Holy crow, 2 years ago!).
Well, it had some annoying sound in it that I decided to edit and remove.
While I was editing, I thought I would re-share it for Throw it Out Thursday!
For anyone who has seen this video, it is a good reminder of how to organize DVDs. Maybe you are ready to give this a try now after being with me for a while. It may have been a bit too much for you at the time. If this video is new to you, I’m telling ya, it is a must see.
Lots of us have tons of DVDs and they are taking up a lot of valubale space.
I say get rid of the packaging. Sometimes clutter can be something that you want, and even can be where it technically belongs (like in a CD case) but um… it might not make you happy, and actually is not even necessary.
This is one step in getting organized, rethinking what you thought needed to be. Sometimes we have to reconsider what we believe to be the right way of doing things. This, I believe is one of those times.
Do we need the packaging? All of that fluff is just a marketing tool. Would you buy a DVD in an envelope for 29.95?
In this video I show you what I do with my DVDs. You might not like it, but so many people have sent me emails about how happy it made them, and they didn’t like it at first either. SO, I have to encourage you to give it a try, or at least consider it.
Watch the video to find out all of the ways we can store our DVDs, and the way I decided to do it.
Also I talk about VHS tapes… That can be a touchy subject for many people. For anyone who remembers 8Track tapes, (Cassette tapes replaced them back in the late 70’s) that is exactly what VHS tapes are. Who still has 8Tracks?
Let me know what you think of the video and my suggestions. I look forward to hearing from you!
Much Love,
Kathy
